Football World Cup Qatar 2022 will be held in Qatar. The world cup 2022 will start on 21st November 2022 in Doha Qatar. Recently, the lists have been announced by FIFA Referee Committee, along with the Names & Countries of the officials. It includes:
- Experienced Referees from all over the world.
- Seminar officials
- A total of 6 women’s match officials have been selected for the first time in history.
Football world cup Qatar officials selection:
Overall, 129 match officials with 36 referees, 69 assistant referees, and recording match officials have been appointed in collaboration with 6 confederations. All of the match officials are selected based on their experience and the quality which they provided in the last world cup, International, and Domestic tournaments.
The Qatar Football Association said: the first & foremost for us is the “high quality”, and the chosen team represents the high level of refereeing all over the world.
With regards to the 2018 world cup, the chairman of the FIFA Referees Committee Pierluigi Collina said: ” The 2018 world cup was a big success because of the world-class officials, and we’ll do our best to make this big event more beautiful and successful.
